In August 2022, I was a writer, uncertain about my career path and seeking purpose, when I stumbled upon Midjourney. Instantly, I was captivated. It felt like falling in love, seeing the future, and hallucinating all at once. As a poet, the idea of turning words into stunning visual art felt like magic. I wasn’t a tech expert, coder, painter, or designer. I was just someone with a vision—and a lot of determination to succeed. AI became my passion.

I dove deep. I haunted Discord servers, absorbed community tips, and asked “stupid” questions until they turned into smart conversations. I kept pushing, kept prompting, and eventually built an intuitive fluency in the language of AI prompting.

Fast forward to now: I’ve created over 180,000+ images in Midjourney alone, taught hundreds of students, and worked on everything from children’s books to concept art for films from Hollywood Movie studios.

My students' ages have ranged from 17 to 80, from coders to technophobes. I love bridging the gap between AI and creative visionaries. Unlocking the gate of generative AI is truly a privilege. People blossom with excitement and inspiration, and getting to be part of that means so much. Kindness, patience, care, encouragement, laughter, and inspiration are all key ingredients in a lesson with me.

AI has taken me in directions I never thought possible. My writing has also found a new outlet in the form of AI Music, now available on Spotify. Generative AI is more than a tool—it’s a creative revolution. You don’t need a design degree or coding skills to join it. You just need curiosity, a guide, and the courage to start.
